the first week

Okay, so I'm new to blogging. I also want to post pics that we took on March 5, 8, and 9 (today). Then I will be up to date and able to move forward with each improvement. In this early stage of renovation, the changes are really noticeable day-to-day. Later, things won't seem to move so quickly. Running electrical wire might put us to sleep. Anyway, this is a neat way to share the progress for anyone who is interested, without e-mailing photos each day.

As of right now, the new master bedroom closet is totally done on the exterior --- the interior will be drywalled later. Same is true for the new bathroom that has been carved out of bedroom #2.
Also the laundry closet in the upstairs hall is taking shape. The benches that were in that hall have been removed. Brad plans to re-use part of that structure in the cabin. The closets in BR2 and BR3 have been enlarged, and for BR2 the existing door has already been re-installed!!

Today the builders took down the wall that separates the existing bathroom from BR3 and then re-built it moved over 1 foot into the bedroom. It makes the bathroom larger and really doesn't have that much effect in the bedroom.

Outside the foundation for the addition has been completed. We are just excited to see what will happen next. Rain is anticipated all day tomorrow.
