The builders were onsite Saturday and worked on finishing touches. One item was to install the permanent cranks for the casement windows, and the permanent locking mechanisms. These had been kept off during the installation and painting process, to protect and preserve them.
Another thing done this weekend was the installation of hanging rods in the closets.
Much time was spent on finishing wood trim. Here's an example: the baseboard and shoe molding was done in the kitchen, now that the cabinets are in place. This trim still needs to be stained to match everything else in the house. Stay tuned!
